Spicy Roasted Green Beans

Since I have this crazy obsession for fresh green beans, I am always looking for new ways to spice them up. Let me tell you that when I say I spiced up these green beans, I literally mean I SPICED them up! This yummy side dish has a kick and a tiny bit of sweetness to them.

3 Cups fresh green beans (cut into 1 inch pieces)

1 teaspoon dijon mustard

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

honey to drizzle

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

Add cut green beans and toss until completely coated.

Spread out onto a baking sheet. Drizzle honey over top of green beans.

Bake for 20 minutes. Flip occasionally.

About kristinegough86

I have the passion to bake and love trying new recipes! I work at a school for children with disabilities as a manager of a cafe. This cafe allows the students learn the ability to work with the public and in the near future I am going to be able to bake with the students and let them learn about the love and passion there is to baking. :) I prefer baking over cooking although I do love to cook as well. I hardly ever repeat a recipe. I love my family, dogs, friends, and job. One day I will have my own bakery and I can not wait. Until then I am going to continue baking my little heart out.
