Zesty Dijon Chicken

I am sure everyone is realizing how much I love chicken by now. I am not one to make the same chicken recipe over and over, even though I do love all my chicken recipes. Trying something new is always exciting especially when it turns out delicious!

I paired this Zesty Dijon Chicken with my Dijon Wavy Potatoes and Simple Green Beans.

4 boneless chicken breasts

1/4 Cup honey

2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, mustard, seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Reserve about a 1/2 of the sauce.

Place chicken on baking sheet and lightly brush sauce onto both sides of chicken. If there is a lot of excess sauce on the baking sheet it has a tendency to burn while cooking. So beware of this. You will brush the chicken with the sauce while it is cooking as well.

Bake for 20-25 minutes. Flip after 10 minutes of cooking and brush with more sauce. Flip again 5 minutes later and brush chicken again. Chicken should have an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

You can serve the extra sauce for dipping, brush (with a clean brush) more sauce on cooked chicken, or drizzle sauce on top of cooked chicken.

About kristinegough86

I have the passion to bake and love trying new recipes! I work at a school for children with disabilities as a manager of a cafe. This cafe allows the students learn the ability to work with the public and in the near future I am going to be able to bake with the students and let them learn about the love and passion there is to baking. :) I prefer baking over cooking although I do love to cook as well. I hardly ever repeat a recipe. I love my family, dogs, friends, and job. One day I will have my own bakery and I can not wait. Until then I am going to continue baking my little heart out.
